     Temple Hill Academy is located at 525 Union Avenue in New Windsor, NY. Temple Hill Academy is a K-8 school.

     Our Schools of Choice Program Theme, Academic, Cultural and Physical Development, gives students a comprehensive educational experience. We focus on academics as well as the importance of cultural influences on our everyday lives and history. We also emphasize the physical development of the students and the important that serves in our daily lives.

     Parent Involvement is very important to Temple Hill Academy. The school has a very active Parent Teacher Organization and parent involvement throughout the year with special events many other extracurricular activities for the family.

Temple Hill Students Aim To ‘Kick Butts’
Recently, Temple Hill Academy students in New Windsor participated in the National Kick Butts Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids. In collaboration with the Temple Hill School nurse teachers, Steven Homan’s Honors Earth Science class created a tri-board display to educate their fellow students on, “They put WHAT in a cigarette?!”.

Students “Believe” in Partnership with Macy’s


     This holiday season, students and staff from the Newburgh Enlarged City School District’s Temple Hill Academy once again participated in a letter writing initiative as part of Macy's "Believe" campaign to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For every letter received, Macy's donated one dollar to the organization which focuses on granting wishes to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

Temple Hill Academy's Math Team A


     On November 29th The Temple Hill Middle School Math Team A finished the season on a commendable note. During the first two rounds, they had perfect scores of five and in the third round, they scored a four. We also won the relay round for an additional three points. Our total score was 17, which was the highest score for that meet. Overall, we finished in 4th place out of 13 teams playing in our section. Not bad for our first year.
